Waterproof connectors are connectors that can be used in water-bearing environments and can ensure that the mechanical and electrical properties of the connectors can be used normally under certain water pressure.

   The P (INTERNATIONAL PROTECTION) protection level system was drafted by IEC (INTERNATIONAL ELECTRO-TECHNICAL COMMISSION). Electrical appliances are graded according to their dust and moisture resistance characteristics.

      The IP protection level is composed of two numbers. The larger the number, the higher the protection level.

Completely prevent foreign objects from entering, and the amount of dust entering will not affect the normal operation of the appliance

Completely prevent foreign objects from entering, and can completely prevent dust from entering

The second characteristic number (number) indicates Degree of protection

The second number indicates the protection level 

0: No protection 

1: Prevent dripping water intrusion

Vertical dripping water will not cause harmful effects to the appliance

2: Prevent dripping water intrusion when tilted 15

Dripping water will not cause harmful effects to the appliance when the appliance is tilted 15

3: Prevent spraying water intrusion

Rainproof, or prevent water sprayed in a direction <60 degrees vertical from intruding into the appliance and causing damage

4: Prevent splashing water intrusion

Prevent splashing water from all directions from intruding into the appliance and causing damage

5: Prevent jetting water intrusion

Prevent jetting water from all directions from intruding into the appliance and causing damage

6: Prevent dust and waves from intruding

Prevent large waves from intruding into the appliance installed on the deck and causing damage

7: Prevent water intrusion during immersion

The appliance is immersed in water for a certain period of time or under a certain standard of water pressure to ensure that the appliance is not damaged by water intrusion

8: Prevent water intrusion during sinking

The appliance is sunk indefinitely under a certain standard of water pressure to ensure that the appliance is not damaged by water intrusion.
