Industrial wiring harnesses can be classified according to different classification standards. Here are some common classification methods:

Functional classification: According to the function of the wiring harness, it can be divided into servo power wiring harness, Signal Harness and hybrid harness. The power harness is mainly used to provide power supply, the signal harness is used to transmit control signals and data, and the hybrid harness has the functions of power and signal transmission at the same time.

Application classification: According to the application field of the wiring harness, it can be divided into automotive wiring harness, electrical  harness, mechanical equipment wiring harness, etc. Different industries have different requirements and standards for wiring harnesses, so the needs of specific industries need to be considered when designing and manufacturing wiring harnesses.

Structural classification: According to the structure and wiring method of the wire harness, it can be divided into loose wire harness and molded wire harness. Loose wire harness refers to a wire harness composed of individual wires and servo cable, with flexible wiring methods, suitable for simpler applications. Molded wire harness refers to a wire harness that is fixed together by specific processes and equipment during the manufacturing process to form a predetermined shape and wiring structure, which is suitable for complex application scenarios.

Cable and harness specifications: According to the size and specifications of the wire harness, it can be divided into different types. The specifications of the wire harness depend on factors such as the number of wires and cables contained in it, the cross-sectional area, and the insulation material.

Environmental classification: According to the conditions and requirements of the wire harness in the working environment, it can be divided into ordinary wire harness and special wire harness. Special wire harnesses have higher resistance to high temperature, corrosion, water and dust, and are suitable for harsh working environments.
